Standard I:
Recognize and identify the need for information
Standard I is the
foundation of all the other standards. Students should be able to
recognize the type of information needed based upon the specific problem or assignment given.
The
student must be able to identify answers to these questions:
What is it I want to know?
What kind of information do I need?
